Master Bedroom

The master bedroom, which has pesticide in a sprayer bottle, mothballs in a clothes trunk, and a small heater.

Master Bedroom Hazard: Pesticides in Sprayer Bottle

Pesticides can be used in sprays to kill bugs and fungus on houseplants. Many pesticides contain chemicals that are harmful to people, animals, and the environment. You should never touch, breathe, or swallow any kind of pesticides.

Master Bedroom Hazard: Mothballs in Trunk

Mothballs create poisonous fumes that are used to kill moths. They can be dangerous to humans. You don't want to touch mothballs or breathe too much of their fumes...otherwise you can get very sick.

Master Bedroom Hazard: Heater

Carbon monoxide is a gas that you can't smell, see, or taste. If a fuel-burning heater (one that burns gas, oil, kerosene, or wood) isn't working right, there might be a danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. When you breathe in lots of carbon monoxide, it can poison you (particularly harmful to kids).
